Stephen Davis began studying ITF Taekwon-Do O-Do-Kwan in 1970 in the Philadelphia area. In 1972 the school switched to Mun-Moo-Kwan. In 1975 Mr. Davis was promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt and formed the first of many Davis Brothers Taekwon-Do Schools spread through out Pennsylvania and Texas. In 1982 Master Davis moved to Corpus Christi and opened his first Taekwon-Do school in Texas. He also began studying Shorin-Ryu and Kobudo (Weapons) and earned a 1st Degree Black Belt in these styles. Master Davis was appointed President of the United Martial Arts Association. Master Davis was intruduced to Grandmaster Howard Y. Kang in 1984 and formally joined The International Chin Mu Kwan Taekwon-Do Federation (CTF) in 1986. Master Davis was inducted into The International Karate Hall of Fame in a Las Vegas ceremony in 1988. In 1999 Grand Master Kang appointed Master Davis as Vice-President of the International Chin-Mu-Kwan Taekwon-Do Federation. Since going under the guidance of Grand Master Kang, Master Davis is 100% dedicated to studying Traditional Taekwon-Do and promoting CTF. Master Davis is currently a 8th Degree Executive Master Black Belt.
Master Fred DeStolfo 8th Dan
Master Fred DeStolfo began his training in 1970, and he is
currently an executive master eighth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. While attending Lock Haven
State College in 1975, he co-founded the Lock Haven State College Karate Club.
Currently, he presides as Vice President of the Chin Mu Kwan Tae Kwon Do
Federation, where he supervises the training and promotion of the black belts in
this region. His dedication to and achievements in the Martial Arts were
recognized in 1988 when he was inducted into the International Karate Hall of
Fame.
